Hello ghouls and goblins, and Happy Halloween! The team here has been doing all we can to get into the spirit of the “holiday,” staging a massive, Hollywood Blockbuster-style production of our very own “film,” Blizzard Horror Chiller Theatre/Frankenstein Meets The Cakeman. It’s a terrifying look directly into the eyes of madness, and I hope you’ll take the time to check it out.
We had a lot of fun making it, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the painstaking, diabolical direction of our own Dave “Sarge” Dillet. Dave’s eye for the macabre is nothing short of terrifying.
Beyond the fun of Halloween, there’s serious business to discuss! First, LDI is now right around the corner. The booth is shaping up nicely, and I sincerely hope I get to see some of you in Vegas in November—right over there in good old booth 2885! We’ll be debuting a slew of new products, and you’re not going to want to miss it!
Next, we’re very excited and very busy working on a full website redesign which should be ready to rock before the end of the year. Since I built our current website nearly 5 years ago (man, it seems like yesterday), our fearless IT guru Joe has spent countless hours tweaking, patching and cursing its very existence! So, it is definitely time for a change. The build is an in-depth process which some of you have been kind enough to help with through customer interviews and testing our online inventory system. Once we’re all set and ready to rock, you all will be the first to know! Some of the details are still top secret, but here’s a short list of new features we’ll be rolling out soon:
--A completely revamped dealer area with direct online ordering, realtime inventory and all of your dealer information available in one place
--Significantly better site navigation which should make finding exactly the right product faster and easier
--More and better photos of all of our products
--Completely overhauled support section with easy access to RMA’s, manuals, cutsheets and more
--A totally new product page layout which puts the most important information about each product at your fingertips in an easy to use format.
It’s a big investment (no Halloween bonus for Bob, Frank and I this year!), but we’re very pleased to be moving forward with it! We think it will be a great portal for our brand, make our customers happy, and streamline the ordering process for our dealers. We hope you like it!
So, until next month, I will do everything I can to resist the temptation of trick-or-treat candy and scantily clad women of the night, and instead focus on finalizing our plans for LDI and global domination! Or… at least the LDI part. Take care and avoid those zombies at all costs!
